Each day at Sagebrook is a blend of exploration, creativity and learning – designed to spark deep thinking, compassion and confidence in every child. Our day begins with a warm welcome to an inviting classroom where children are encouraged to share ideas and connect with peers. Teachers foster a sense of belonging and set the tone for a day filled with collaboration and discovery. A variety of open-ended materials provide opportunities for independent and collaborative discovery.
Learning is led by curiosity. Through real-world themes like “How We Express Ourselves” and “Sharing the Planet,” students explore big ideas through hands-on projects, discussions, and experiments in an inquiry-based approach.

In “Sharing the Planet,” children explore sustainability by planting seeds in the sensory garden. This hands-on experience sparks scientific inquiry into how and why plants grow, while nurturing environmental awareness through food sourcing and preparation.
Through art, music, movement and drama, students develop their creative voices while building confidence and cultural awareness. Activities like creating self-portraits or participating in group performances help them express themselves and appreciate diverse perspectives.
Play, both indoors and outside, is central to learning at Sagebrook. Our outdoor play areas and indoor activity zones help children build motor skills and resilience. From yoga and nature walks to unstructured exploration, we balance energy and mindfulness throughout the day.
Children first develop a sense of self and community, and then gradually engage with global ideas and multicultural learning. Group activities help children build empathy, communication and leadership skills in ways that feel natural and joyful.
